Bedazzling! |
| A rich velvety trillium-cut tanzanite accented by six sparkling diamonds in a warm yellow gold ring. This elegant, striking design emphasizes the lush blue-violet color of an incredible tanzanite. The diamonds offer a splash of sparkle that complements the deeply saturated color of the center stone. |
 The tanzanite is set in a heavy gold bezel that completely surrounds and protects the edges of the gem. On each side of the tanzanite a graduated trio of diamonds is channel set along the shoulders of the ring. The smallest diamonds are set nearest to the tanzanite where the shoulders are "pinched" together. The larger diamonds are set further from the tanzanite in the widest part of the band. The edges of the bezel and channel settings are crisp and smooth - a sign of superior craftsmanship.
 A side view shows the wonderful high walls of the band and the tanzanite's bezel setting. We recommend protective settings for tanzanites because they are a softer gemstone worthy of extra care. The bezel setting helps minimize the possibility of excessive wear and tear on the tanzanite, while also creating a smooth, modern look. Best of all, there are no prongs to catch on your favorite sweater! The band has a higher wall along the shoulders, then gradually tapers towards the base of the ring, creating a more comfortable fit. The base still has an exceptional thickness that will last for years and years! |

 As always, we believe a fine jewel should be finished as nicely on the inside as it is on the outside. Note the symmetry of the under bezel, the crisp edges and beautifully polished surfaces.

| The trillium cut tanzanite weighs 1.63 carats and measures approximately 7.5 millimeters along each side. The six graduated diamonds are F-G color, VS1 clarity and weigh a total of 0.27 carats. | ||
