Natural fancy color diamonds have been called the orchids of the gem world. Like orchids, fancy color diamonds are rare and exotic beauties of nature. Among the rarest of colored diamonds are the reds, blues and purplish pinks.
When we came across this striking natural purplish-pink diamond, we could not resist creating a beautiful ring. The emerald-cut diamond is Fancy Intense Purplish-Pink in color, weighs 0.39 carats and is accompanied by a Gemological Institute of America(GIA) report. |

 Accenting the center diamond are two small ideal-cut round brilliants. The side diamonds were selected to complement the beauty and brilliance of the center stone. The ring was handcrafted in platinum to create a beautiful and safe setting for the diamonds. We call this style of ring "Breathless" because of the graceful way the band sweeps upward to meet the diamonds.
 Each of the diamonds is set with rounded platinum prongs that gently taper in width from top to bottom, creating a graceful setting. The purplish-pink diamond is set slightly above the side diamonds, so the gemstones flow across the wearer's finger. Note the thickness of the ring's band and the strength of the setting. This ring is crafted to be an heirloom that will be passed from generation to generation. |

 The inside of a beautifully crafted ring should be as nicely finished as the top. Note the smooth, even cut-outs beneath the diamonds, the seamless transition from setting to setting, and the graceful narrowing of the band as it approaches the diamonds. |
