The dazzling sparkle of this striking ring is sure to turn some heads! A 2.3 carat oval diamond rests between two rows of sparkling princess cut diamonds. The result is a solid band of dazzling brilliance.
The center diamond is set in an 18kt yellow gold half bezel. The princess-cut diamonds (sixteen in all) are invisibly set in sturdy channels along the shoulders of the ring. Invisible setting means that no metal shows between the princess cut diamonds creating a solid field of brilliance. This technique was first developed by Van Cleef & Arpels and also Cartier during the 1930s. |

 The diamonds are beautifully complemented by the polished yellow gold surfaces of the ring. Note the perfect alignment of the princess-cut diamonds and the thickness of the channel walls that protect them. The body of the ring was cast and the bezel setting hand-crafted to assure a perfect fit for the oval diamond. Invisibly setting princess-cut diamonds is a labor-intensive process that, when done right, creates a beautiful effect.
 From the side you can see that the ring has high shoulders that accommodate the channel settings and complement the depth of the central bezel. The surfaces of the ring are brightly finished with rounded edges. The thickness of the band gradually tapers towards the base of the ring to create a comfortable fit on your finger. |
 From the underside you can see that the inner surfaces of the ring are as beautifully finished as the outer, a sign of superior craftsmanship. You also see the intricate lattice of 18kt gold that secures the princess cut diamonds. |
