An alluring, mysterious Montana Sapphire set in a
beautifully hand-engraved platinum ring. Two sparkling
white diamonds complement the Montana Sapphire. This
handcrafted ring is a miniature masterpiece from our Secret
Garden collection. The ring is richly engraved with blossoming flowers and leaf-like flowing scrolls. The style of engraving is known as "relief engraving." Our engraver painstakingly carved away small bits of metal allowing the design to emerge in high relief. The background was finished with a stippled, pebble-like pattern and darkened to further highlight the design.  Along the shoulders of the ring, leaf-like scrolls flow upward towards the small diamonds set in blossoming four-petal flowers. We work with some of the finest hand engravers to create a variety of dramatic and naturalistic designs. Each engraver works in a unique style with a passion for their art.  The flowing scrolls are repeated on the sides the ring and the setting of the Sapphire. The half-bezel setting nicely complements the dramatic shape and cut of the Sapphire. Notice the V-like taper of the center setting combined with bold shape of the stone. |

 Examining the inside of the ring you can see the care with which this ring was created. The ring is beautifully crafted with the inner surfaces smooth and even. A small engraved flower is secreted at the base of the ring. The true sign of a master craftsman is the care taken with the small details and the hidden elements of a jewel. |

 As with all our jewels, this ring displays Bijoux Extraordinaire's registered hallmark ("BEL"). The precious metal mark for platinum ("PLAT") is also visible on the inside wall of the band. These marks are your assurance of exceptional design, superior craftsmanship and lasting beauty.  |

| The Montana Sapphire is a square starburst cushion cut that weighs 2.09 carats. The two diamonds are ideal-cut round brilliants that weigh a total of 0.12 carats. They are E - F color and VS clarity. The ring is finger size 6 1/2. | ||
