Rose-cut Diamond and Sapphire Ring

| Rose-cut Diamonds were first introduced in the mid 16th century in Antwerp, Belgium. They are loved for the scintillating sparkle they create. This ring features a beautiful Rose-cut Diamond that sparkles as light dances across its many triangular facets. The ring is crafted in platinum with engraved accents and milgrained edges.
 Along the shoulders of the ring, rich blue Sapphires are set in raised channels with milgrained edges. The Sapphires are Princess cuts. The rich color of the Sapphires contrasts beautifully with the cool white of the platinum and the sparkle of the center Diamond.
 Beneath the Sapphires, small round brilliant-cut Diamonds are bead set in small box-like settings. The milgrained edges are continued to complete to the elegant sparkle of the ring.
 The lower shoulders and sides of the ring are engraved with a flowing pattern of sinuous vines and leaves. The bright-cut engraving gives the ring depth and contrasts with the brightly polished platinum surfaces.
 The galleries beneath the Diamond and Sapphires are open with curving scrolls reminiscent of opening lotus blossoms. Above the settings, the Diamond rises like the dome of an exotic Eastern palace. Perhaps Kubla Khan's "stately pleasure-dome" or the Taj Mahal.
 The inside of the ring is as beautifully crafted as the top. Note the sturdy under gallery and the open "windows" beneath the Rose-cut diamond and Sapphires. The inner surfaces are polished to a beautiful mirror-like finish. A section at the base of the ring has been left unengraved to allow easy resizing of the ring.

| The Rose-cut Diamond weighs 0.92 carats. It is VS1 clarity and J color. The four Princess-cut Sapphires weigh a total of 0.33 carats and the six small round brilliant diamonds weigh at total of 0.08 carats. The ring is finger size 6 3/4 and can be resized to fit most fingers. | ||
