Trillium Sapphire and Diamond Ring

The sapphire is a trillium shape and weighs just over 1.4 carats.  The six round brilliant diamonds weigh a total of  0.41 carats and are closely matched for color and clarity.

The diamonds are graduated in size with the smallest diamonds set closest to the trillium sapphire.  The shoulders of the ring gently narrow as they move along the line of diamonds and approach the vibrant center stone.  You can see that the walls of the channel setting are sturdy,  smooth and straight  -  evidence of the superior craftsmanship employed in creating this ring.  The ring has highly polished flat surfaces and softly rounded edges.

Viewing the ring from the side shows the thickness of the band throughout its entire circumference  -  ensuring a jewel that will last a lifetime.  The band is slightly tapered towards the base to create a more comfortable fit.  You can also see the depth and strength of the bezel walls that protect the sapphire.

As with all fine jewels,  the inside of the ring is as nicely finished as the outside.  The under-bezel beneath the sapphire is smoothly finished,  symmetrical and beautifully polished.  The small windows beneath each diamond (known as "á jouré") are symmetrical and even.
