Sapphires and Diamonds II

Beautifully engraved platinum-top cufflinks set with blue cabochon Sapphires and sparkling white Diamonds. These octagonal cufflinks are decorated with foliate and quatrefoil designs surrounded by elegantly scrolling borders. Crafted in platinum and 14kt gold, circa 1920.

The cufflinks are well constructed with sturdy cross bars and bracket mountings. The yellow gold backs are polished to a mirror-like finish. (Please excuse the reflections from our camera.)

The cross bars of the cufflinks are marked "PLON14K" indicating platinum on top of 14kt gold.
