| A striking hand-engraved band set with deep red garnets. This elegant band is handcrafted in platinum and richly engraved with flowers and leaf-like scrolls. The center of each flower is set with a pyrope garnet. This ring is a miniature masterpiece that was inspired by a secret enchanted garden. |
 Each engraved flower has four delicate petals with a red garnet set in the center. Many jewelers simply create three or four small beads to set small gemstones. We believe that a setting should complement the design of a jewel .... so we created a circle of tiny beads, like the stamens of a flower, to hold each garnet. The style of engraving featured on this band is known as "relief engraving." The engraver works carefully to remove small bits of metal allowing the design to emerge in high relief. The background was then given a stippled finish and darkened to further highlight the floral elements. This type of engraving is very time consuming, but the results are worth the effort! |
 The platinum sides of the band are beautifully hand engraved with a flurry of undulating leaf-like scrolls. The outer edges of the band are crisp and brightly polished. The edges frame the engraved pattern and add a finishing touch of elegance. A beautiful ring like this should be made to last. Note the thickness of the band throughout its circumference and depth of the engraving. We hand create our rings so that they will wear beautifully and be enjoyed for many years. |
