| This rich blue Sapphire sparkles like it is illuminated from within by a thousand miniature fireworks. The beautiful Sapphire is set in a hand-crafted, hand-engraved platinum ring. |
 The extraordinary brilliance of the Sapphire is the result of concave faceting. A master gem cutter carefully cupped and curved the normally flat facets on the back of the gem. The concave facets, although time consuming and painstaking to create, add to the brilliance and beauty of the gemstone.
 The Sapphire is set in a brightly polished platinum bezel. The mirror-like surfaces of the bezel beautifully complement the brilliance and shape of the Sapphire. The engraved shoulders of the ring slightly narrow and flare as they sweep upward to meet the bezel setting. |

 Viewing from the side, you can see the symmetry of the design and the precision with which this ring was hand crafted. Note the thickness of the band throughout the ring's circumference, how the sturdy bezel walls protect the Sapphire and the depth and detail of the engraving. The band of the ring is beautifully hand engraved with a classic chevron pattern. In the Gallery we call this style of engraving "Woodstock's feet," because the pattern reminds us of the tracks left by Snoopy's avian friend in the snow. For an additional touch of elegance, we milgrained the edges of the band with a fine bead-like pattern.
 Viewing the inside of the ring, you can see the brightly polished inner surfaces and the smooth, crisp edges. All signs of the master craftsmen who took great care and pride in creating this ring.
