A beautiful, rich purple amethyst is featured in this lovely Victorian ring. The table of the amethyst has been carved with a Forget-Me-Not flower and set with rose-cut diamonds. The ring is crafted in 14kt gold with a setting and band that continue the floral motif.

 Amethyst is a variety of quartz that was prized during the Victorian era for its rich color. In ancient times amethyst was believed to protect the wearer from drunkenness.
