The Sapphire is a squarish cushion-cut that weighs 2.01 carats and has a grayish Blue hue  It is just perfect for a man's ring.  The bullet-shape diamonds are reminiscent of calibre cut gemstones from the Art Deco era.  They help create the striking linear design of the ring.

We crafted the body of the ring in 18kt yellow gold.  The brightly polished gold complements the brilliance of the Sapphire and diamonds and also contrasts beautifully with the cool white appearance of the platinum.  The rich two-tone effect of the warm yellow gold and cool white platinum is wonderful.

From the side you can see the low profile of the Sapphire and diamonds.  This ring was designed for an active wearer.  Note the downward angle of the bullet-shape diamonds.  By setting the diamonds at an angle away from the center Sapphire,  the three gemstones form a smooth arc across the top of the ring and follow the natural shape of the finger.  Without this careful setting of the diamonds,  the ring would have a flat-top appearance and be more bulky.  It is the little details like this that make our custom rings truly special!

The bezel settings are sturdily crafted to protect and showcase the gemstones while the body of the ring is made with a wonderful thickness throughout its circumference that gently tapers towards the base of the ring.  This ring was made to last for future generations and will bring the wearer many years of enjoyment.

You should always carefully examine the underside of a fine jewel.  Here you can see the sturdy under-gallery beneath the Sapphire and diamonds and the smoothly polished, crisp inner surfaces.  Beneath each gem there is a small window that follows the gemstones shape.  This ring is a superbly crafted example of Art Deco design.
