Custom Gold and Platinum Pendant

The theory of the Yin and Yang characterizes two opposing aspects of an object or process that at the same time complement one another.    The two halves of Yin and Yang fit together so naturally, each side fashioned as an opposite, yet perfectly meshed together like integral pieces of a jig saw puzzle.

The pendant was crafted in cool white platinum and warm 22kt yellow gold to provide stark contrast in the color of the metal while also striking a tone of balance and harmony.

We bezel set a vivid green tsavorite garnet within the platinum area and a vibrant pink tourmaline within the gold region to symbolize the birthstones of the couple for whom we crafted this pendant.   The garnet represents the birth month for January while the tourmaline was selected for October.

By custom creating the pendant we were able to assure that the two halves fit perfectly together.  The platinum has a soft satin finish with a subtle touch of shimmer while the 22 karat yellow gold is brightly polished to a mirror like finish.

At the base of the pendant you can see the marks for the precious metals (PLAT for 95% pure platinum and 22k for the high karat yellow gold).   This view also shows the nice thickness of the pendant throughout the entire circumference. We build our jewels to last a lifetime and to be passed on to future generations.

We also placed our hallmark on the back of the simple loop bail.  We sign all of our custom designed jewels and indicate the precious metals.  These are your assurances of exceptional quality, innovative design and superior craftsmanship.
