A delicate Art Nouveau pin featuring an iris framed by sensuously flowing leaves. The flower is surmounted by three creamy pearls. Meticulously crafted in 14kt gold, this watch pin is a wonderful example of Art Nouveau jewelry. Created circa 1900.

The back of this pin has a sturdy "C" clasp and is stamped "14K". Also, there is a chatelaine hook for suspending a small pendant or watch. Known as chatelaine pins, brooches of this type were very popular at the turn of the century. A decorative watch would be suspended from the pin and worn on one's dress or lapel. |
