![]() Elegant Laurel Wreath Cufflinks![]() Laurels to the Victor! |
Since ancient times laurel wreathes have been
a symbol of achievement and victory. These elegant gold
cufflinks from early in the last century tastefully announce
that the wearer is a winner! Crafted in 10kt gold,
circa 1900.
![]() The cufflinks are well crafted with strong split bridges anchored in sturdy bean backs. They were created by Barry & Company, a maker of fine gold jewelry and other items based in Newark, New Jersey during the early 1900s.
![]() One side of the bridges is stamped with the whimsical maker's mark of the firm - a carrot separating digits indicating the purity of the gold. In this case the mark can be read as "10 carrot", or more traditionally 10 karat.
Name: Laurels to the Victor!
