![]() Antique White Gold Cufflinks![]() Winter Rose! |
Elegant white gold cufflinks with intricately engine-turned centers that are reminiscent of the overlapping petals of a blooming rose. The richly engraved white gold surfaces give these cufflinks a frosty, wintry appearance. Crafted in 14kt white and yellow gold, circa 1920.
![]() Keeping with the wintry theme the backs of the cufflinks are engraved "12-25-19" and record the initials of the original owner ("S.C.F."). Obviously S.C.F. had a very good Christmas in 1919. The backs are crafted in 14kt yellow gold and polished to a bright finish. (Please excuse the reflections from our camera.) The cufflinks are connected with sturdy cross bars and brackets.
![]() The cross bars are marked "14K" for the purity of the gold. Beneath the gold mark is the maker's mark for Wm. Link & Co. Based in Newark, New Jersey, the firm created fine gold and sterling jewels and accessories from the 1870s until the early 1930s. Name: Winter Rose! ![]()
