| A brilliant blue Sapphire is the focal point of
this stunning ring. This handcrafted platinum jewel is
part of our "Hidden Treasures" collection, another Bijoux
classic.
The Sapphire is a round brilliant cut and weighs 1.53 carats. The rich blue gem is set with graceful double prongs which taper to "spear point" tips. The shoulders of the platinum ring are gently scalloped to create flowing surfaces that sweep upward to the center stone. |

 We call this ring "Sapphire Hidden Treasures," because just beneath the rich blue Sapphire we secreted two small diamonds and 18kt gold accents. We like to create rings with hidden accents and special surprises! This shoulder view shows the striking design of the ring. The scalloped shoulders dramatically sweep upward and taper narrow as they rise to meet the Sapphire. For an added touch of elegance, we milgrained the edges of the shoulders and the gallery with a bead-like pattern.  From the side you can see the "hidden treasures." Beneath the Sapphire we set two brilliant diamonds between the upper and lower galleries of the setting. The sparkling brilliance of the diamonds perfectly complements the rich blue of the Sapphire and cool elegance of the platinum.  On each side of the diamonds, small circlets of 18kt yellow gold are tucked beneath the shoulders of the ring. The gold circles pass through to the other side of the ring like secret passageways. It is the little details, small secrets and hidden treasures, that make this beautiful ring special!  A beautiful jewel brings together imaginative design and impeccable craftsmanship. In this inside view, you can see how carefully this ring was crafted. Note the sturdy setting that cradles the Sapphire, the smooth finish of the inner surfaces, and the crisp even edges along the band. The inside of this ring is as beautifully crafted as the top.  Every fine jewel should be signed by the maker and marked with the precious metals. In this close up you can see our registered hallmark ("BEL") and the precious metal marks for platinum ("PT950") and 18 karat gold ("750"). These marks are your assurance of exceptional craftsmanship, imaginative design and lasting beauty. |
