Engraved antique gold cufflinks. (J6826)

Golden Elegance!
Beautifully engraved 14kt yellow gold cufflinks with intricate acanthus leaf borders.  These cufflinks are a wonderful example of the rich gold work characteristic of gentlemen's jewelry from the early 1900s.

The links are well crafted with sturdy cross bars and bracket mountings.  The backs are nicely finished with a smooth mirror-like polish.  They weigh a total of 9.9 grams.

The backs display the precious metal mark for 14kt gold ("14K") and the maker's mark, a navette shape enclosing letters or symbols (perhaps an "&" or a script "L").  We have not identified the maker.
