Art Deco Onyx and Gold Cufflinks

These elegant cufflinks were created by the firm Wm. Huger & Company, a maker of fine cufflinks, rings and lockets during the early decades of the last century.  Huger & Co. was particularly noted for its beautiful Art Deco designs.

Cufflinks, like all fine jewels, should be closely inspected from every direction.  The backs of these cufflinks are beautifully crafted in 14kt yellow gold.  The closed backs help protect the Onyx centers.  You can also see the maker's attention to detail in the sturdy brackets and cross bars that secure the links.

The precious metal mark ("14" for 14kt gold) and the maker's mark for Wm. Huger & Co. (an "H" squeezed in the middle) are visible on the reverse of the cufflinks.
