Sapphires and Stars!
Elegant Art Deco cufflinks with dramatic compass rose centers set with small blue sapphires.  Jagged Greek key borders with stylized thistles inside mille grain outer edges complete the design.  Crafted in 14kt gold,  circa 1930.

As with all fine jewels,  you should examine the backs of cufflinks closely.  Here you can see the maker's attention to detail with the sturdy cross bars and strong brackets .  The backs are crafted in brightly polished 14kt yellow gold.


Kohn & Co. hallmark. (J9093)

The maker's mark of Kohn & Company, a cone lying on its side above "14K",  is visible on the cross bars.  Kohn & Co. was a maker of fine gold cufflinks and jewelry during the early decades of the last century.
