Some of the finest cufflinks of the 1920s combined the warmth of antique gold with the cool elegance of platinum.  This wonderful pair of antique cufflinks features rich yellow gold centers surrounded by elegantly engraved platinum borders.

The cufflinks are beautifully crafted with sturdy ornamental brackets and cross bars.  The backs are nicely finished with a smooth mirror-like polish.  It is the small details that make this pair of cufflinks exceptional.

The cross bars are marked "PLAT." and "14K" for the precious metals.  Also visible on the polished backs of the cufflinks is a small circle or "O,"  possibly the maker's mark.
