Carrington Purple and Gold Cufflinks

Carrington purple enamel cufflinks. (J8828)

Carrington Purple!

Striking guilloche enamel cufflinks with translucent purple enamel over an engine turned pattern of radiating ovals.  The purple centers are surrounded by borders of white enamel and gold.  A nice example of the beautifully crafted, bold designs created by Carrington & Co. during the 1920s and 1930s.  Crafted in 14kt gold,  circa 1925.

The reverse of the cufflinks are well crafted with sturdy cross bars and secure brackets.  The backs are polished to a mirror-like finish (please excuse the reflections from our camera).  Careful attention to detail was a hallmark of Carrington craftsmanship and design.  The Carrington maker's mark (a "C" surrounding a "14") is visible on the cross bars.
