A subtly engraved Edwardian bar pin crafted in 14kt white gold. The understated elegance of this beautiful jewel is the perfect accent for any jacket, lapel, collar or hat. Circa 1920.

Measurements: This 14kt gold pin is 2.0" long and 1/8 " wide.

The pin is secured to your lapel with a long pin stem and a transitional clasp. This style of clasp was a precursor to the modern safety clasp and was common to the period 1900 to 1920.

A close up of the clasp reveals a "C" in an arrow. This is the hallmark of the jewelry firm Carter, Gough & Company. Based in Newark, New Jersey, this firm created wonderful platinum and gold jewels from 1841 to the early 1920s.
