A beautiful four-leaf clover sure to bring luck to the wearer. A small pearl is set in the center like a morning dew drop. Crafted in 14kt gold, circa 1900.
The green enamel leaves of the clover are naturally and richly detailed. The mid rib and veins of each leaf are exactingly rendered.
The reverse of the stickpin (pictured below) is sturdily crafted in yellow gold to protect the enamel leaves. A maker's mark (a Maltese Cross) and gold purity mark ("14K") are stamped on the pin stem.

Measurements: This 14kt gold stickpin is 2 1/8" long and weighs 1.0 grams. The shamrock measures 7/16" by 7/16".

This stickpin was created by an unknown maker who specialized in fine jewels featuring dramatically rendered plants and flowers. Below is a cufflink featuring the sinuous curves of the Art Nouveau. The mark of this unknown maker was a small Maltese Cross.
