![]() Antique Gold and Enamel Cufflinks![]() Blue Fireworks! |
Incredible gold cufflinks with sumptuous blue enamel centers reminiscent of cool blue fireworks bursting in a night sky. The rich effect of the translucent enamel and engine-turned design is known as guilloche enameling. Crafted in 14kt gold, circa 1920.
![]() The backs of the cufflinks are as well crafted as the fronts. Note the sturdy cross bars and brackets that secure the links and the mirror-like finish of the surfaces.
![]() The cufflinks are stamped with the precious metal mark ("14" for 14kt gold) and the maker's mark. The makers mark (an "H" with curling sides) is for William Huger & Company, a maker of fine cufflinks and other jewels during the early decades of the 1900s.
Name: Blue Fireworks!
